Catalina Island Diving - An underwater paradise in the Caribbean Are you passionate about diving and dreaming of finding a true paradise in the Caribbean? Look no further! Catalina Island is a small gem of less than 10 square kilometers located off the coast of La Romana, where the beauty of the sea mixes with an impressive ecosystem. This incredible island is a protected natural park, practically uninhabited and very popular among diving, fishing, and snorkeling lovers. Discover its lush seabed, filled with corals, sponges, and tropical fish, while enjoying its beautiful white sandy beaches and always calm and crystal clear turquoise waters. Catalina Island offers two of the best dive sites in the Dominican Republic, recognized worldwide. "The Wall" is an impressive underwater wall that descends to 100 meters, with two steps at 25 and 40 meters for a more gradual descent. "The Aquarium" is a place that takes its name from the coral formations that cover it, with a maximum depth of 11 meters and a wide variety of species, such as seahorses, lionfish, and toadfish. In addition, Catalina Island has optimal weather conditions throughout the year, so there's no excuse not to enjoy a day of fun in its crystal clear waters! Dive into Catalina Island and live an unforgettable experience!

Itinerary:

1.At first light, we will pick you up from your hotel and head to the port of Romana or Bayahibe on a comfortable minibus; we will arrive at the port one hour later and board a catamaran to Isla Catalina, where you will be greeted with a welcome refreshment.

2.Next, we will navigate for about 45 minutes to the first dive spot, the famous "Wall"; already with our scuba equipment in place, we will submerge to discover the incredible coral reefs, full of sea sponges and tropical fish.

3.This activity lasts about 45 minutes, after which we will sail back towards Catalina Island to dive once again, this time in the "Aquarium".

4.Once back on the island, you will be able to enjoy its beaches until lunchtime and you will savor an all-you-can-eat buffet with typical Caribbean Creole cuisine.

5.Around 3 o'clock we embarked on our return to La Romana or Bayahibe, on a journey enlivened with traditional Dominican songs and dances.

6.Upon reaching La Romana or Bayahibe, we will take you back to your hotel.
